Just a Bloggin'

I hope everyone had just of a wonderful christmas as I did. Every year just gets better and better. One reason is because almost 6 years ago my aunt passed away. She was the glue that held our family together. The first couple of years was hard nobody really was in the spirit to get together and each year it was harder and harder to get people in good moods for dinners. Then my grandmother passed away. It then became a challenge. People stopped coming to dinners and slowly I watched my family pull away from on another. About two years ago my mom started being the one responsible for the food and callin everyone. It got better but this year it just seemed to be like old times again. Laughter filled the rooms and you could tell everyone was so happy to see one another. It really made this christmas so much fun and memorable. Everyone have a fun and safe new years!

To Our Little Angel in Heaven

For those who knew her Presley Slatton Passed away this afternoon. My heart is just broken. I have cried until I just cant cry anymore. When I first found out I was devestated, angry, hurt, confused. She was only 12 years old. She didn't even have a chance to live. We loved her so much. I know that she is in a better place and that God does things for a reason. He had a bigger plan for her and he has definitely gained him one great little angel. I will always remember little presley riding her bike up and down the street with my little brother. She was so full of life! She never had a dull moment. Aubrey and I awhile back to her, my brother, and her brother tucker to see spiderman. She just didnt know what to think she was just so happy. I cant believe she is gone. We talked to the grandparents and they said , if you could have seen her when she passed you would have more peace..she was so beautiful and her skin was the prettiest color, and her hair was silky and beautiful as ever. She looked like the prettiest angel laying there. It was like God was telling us that she is with him now and that she is not hurting any more. I know that she is better off than we are but I am still at the selfish stage where I want her here. I just want to say Presley you have really touched my heart and Im so proud to of known the sweet little girl that you was and I will always have a special place for you in my heart for I know you are riding your little bike in the clouds now and you have God by your side who will take care of you and when the sun is shining we will know your smiling down on us. We love you presley! Your our little angel

please keep her family and her brother tucker in your prayers tonight. It is hard on everyone expecially with it being so close to christmas

Say a Prayer

Little mIss Presley Slatton was diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of 11. She is now 12 years old and still fighting. Her cancer recently went into remition and she got to come home for a short while. They noticed she was not feeling well and that she had a fungus growing in her nose. They took her back to the doctor and where she had had so much radiation for her cancer it set up infection. Infection that was so severe it was producing a fungus already. Her infection was already to her spine and in her blood stream. They have gave her a blood tranfusioin and are now giving her blood with alot of platelets. The doctors say all thats left for her is in God's hands now. My family are real close to these people and love them so much. God can perform miracles! Please be praying for presley to recover. Keep her and her family in your prayers! Thank you and God bless
